- 6 Tbsp. Crisco Pure Vegetable Oil
- 1 tsp. minced fresh garlic
- 1 French baguette (about 24-inch, cut in half horizontally)
- 1 lb. sliced tomatoes (thinly)
- 1/4 cup shaved Parmesan cheese
- 2 Tbsp. balsamic vinegar
- 1 Tbsp. fresh basil (chopped)

Directions
- HEAT grill to medium high heat. Combine 4 tablespoons oil and garlic. Brush liberally on cut sides of bread. Season with salt and pepper.
- GRILL bread, cut side down, 1 to 2 minutes until moderately charred. Turn.
- ARRANGE tomatoes on bread. Grill, covered, 1 to 2 minutes until tomatoes are softened. Top with cheese, balsamic vinegar, remaining 2 tablespoons oil and basil, if desired.
