- 3/4 cup mozzarella cheese (shredded)
- 1 egg
- 2 Tbsp. basil pesto
- 1/2 cup artichokes (marinated)
- 1/2 cup roasted red peppers (sliced)
- 1 cup tomato sauce (can use any, but I've included my recipe)
- salt and ground black pepper (to taste)
- chives (for garnish, optional)
- 22 floz crushed tomatoes (strained)
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic (smashed)
- 1/2 onion (minced)
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. sea salt
- 2 basil leaves
- 3 sprigs fresh parsley (chopped)
