Didn't know how I wanted to review this recipe as the recipe itself, the chicken thighs, what was left of them, what you could get off the grill, was really pretty good. What you could get off the grill that is. Never, ever, and I do mean ever have I ever had something stick to the grill as this did. I used bone in with skin chicken thighs. Sprayed my grill with Weber non stick spray as I always do, used a very low(ish) flame, had no flare ups or anything. I wish I could have uploaded a photo so you could see just how bad this was! I've used several of the Food Charlatan's recipe's and they all have been really good but this was just ridiculous. I guess I should have thought it a bit with the brown sugar in the recipe but certainly not the first time I used a sticky recipe on my grill. No kidding, I thought I might have to buy new grates. Soaked the grates over night trying to get it off, had to use Weber grill tools that actually one of them was wrecked cleaning it, even had to use a metal paint scraper! Insane. So, I rather doubt I will go for this one again. It was good but not at all worth that. IF I do, you can bet it won't be on my grill!
