- 6 Tbsp. butter (3/4 stick butter or margarine)
- 16 oz. sour cream
- 20 oz. enchilada sauce (Green Chile)
- 21 oz. condensed soup (Cream of Chicken)
- 2 cups grated cheese
- 2 lb. cooked chicken (cooked diced/shredded)
- 1 can green chiles (chopped, optional)
- 15 corn tortillas (cut or torn into quarters/fourths)
- 1/2 cup grated cheese (topping)

Directions
- In a 2-quart pot, combine butter, sour cream, enchilada sauce, cream of chicken soup, 2 cups cheese and occasionally stir over medium-low heat until cheese is melted (approx. 5-10 minutes). Stir in cooked chicken and turn heat to low (simmer).
- Preheat oven to 350 Degrees Fahrenheit.
- In a 9x13 baking dish, spread approx. 1 - 1 1/2 cup soup mixture on the bottom, spread evenly to completely cover the bottom. Pour in more if needed.
