This turned out great. The moisture was great - it didn’t dry out at all. I sautéed some poblanos for the chilies and used buttermilk instead of regular milk, and I served with some honey lime butter.

This was pretty much the best cornbread I have ever had. As a matter of personal preference, I used buttermilk in place of the regular milk, and in a smaller quantity. Texture, flavor, everything was delightful. This is my new favorite cornbread recipe.
