- 1/2 sweet onion (small, cut into thin slivers, We used Vidalia onion.)
- 2 cups cherry tomatoes (cut in half)
- fresh basil (generous amount thinly-sliced, We used about 1/3 cup, but next time I’d use more if I had plenty of basil in the garden.)
- salt
- fresh ground black pepper
- 3 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil (Use an oil with good flavor.)
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice (fresh-squeezed, I used my fresh-frozen lemon juice.)
- 2 tsp. minced fresh garlic (finely)
- 1/2 tsp. dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp. sea salt

light snack or a delicious side. if u wanted to make it as a meal id suggest mozzarella and grilled chicken breast. add extra basil than what it says, trust me.
