Used this recipe's directions as a substitute for the one I loved last used last year an modified. Ingredients still in my YUMS but directions not available. I substituted a mix of portabella ans white mushrooms, added slivered almonds. I know it's more work, but golden fried ahallot rings beats French's onion rings any time. Just add them the last 15 min of the bake to lesson the risk of them turning black

This was excellent! My son was pretty nervous about foregoing the canned mushroom soup. And the casserole is the only way he likes to eat green beans.. Now, he wants to learn how to make it this way. G’bye cans.

Haven’t put it in the oven yet, but it’s delicious!!! So happy to find a recipe that doesn’t involve processed ingredients. I actually subbed the onions for cape cod style potato chips, bc I had no idea all of the junk in the onion rings. Will definitely make this again. It’s fabulous!

This version has skyrocketed to my family's favorite. It's so easy to make....I cant imagine using canned soup for Green Bean casserole after making this.
