    The recipe was great and it came out decent. I made this for a potluck and a lot of people really liked it. Personally, I think it came out a little too salty. I think I would use a cheddar cheese instead of sharp as a topping next time and make sure to place directly on the pastry - it caused issues when trying to get each pastry off the parchment paper. I also used fresh beans instead of canned, which might help bring down the saltiness. The beans are easiest to handle when cut into small pieces, about an inch long. Make sure to use unsalted butter as well. Will try again!
