Turned out just like mom’s when she made it in the 60s for my older siblings and in the 70s for me! Tonight, May of 2018, our 7 year old son ate his entire portion and asked if we could eat that tomorrow and the next night and the next night! Only changes I made were using some minced garlic and some garlic powder to taste when seasoning the meat, then I used a can of Campbell’s tomato bisque as it was all I had in the cupboard and I used regular cut canned green beans like my mom used to use. I had French cut but I like the more “chunky” green bean so it doesn’t “dissolve away” so easily and it adds texture to the dish. I’ll be making this at least once s month! Thanks for sharing the recipe!
