We always called Ham and Cabbage. It was on made in the winter. We put green beans in there never carrot. And we used a ham butt that comes in a casing. It was so delicious.
I am definitely going to add carrots today. My husband loves carrots. We also cook the ham in one big ham and don’t cut in chunks. Since the ham is already cooked we add that later then the cabbage. We like our cabbage very well done. It’s a meal that can have many variations. Thanks for your recipe..
