- 1 cup granulated white sugar
- 2 large eggs (well beaten)
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 Tbsp. ground cinnamon
- 3/4 cup chopped walnuts (or raisins, see Recipe Notes)
- 3 cups old fashioned oats (do not use quick-cooking oats)

These are very easy and very delicious. Don't over bake. I added about a 1/4 cup of molasses and didn't include the nuts. I also used 1 cup quick oats and 2 cups rolled oats.
