Thank you so much for this recipe. I used to make Anadama bread years ago in a smaller town, where there was not great bread available. Now that I was craving it, I found I no longer had a recipe, and most of those online used white flour.
This is fantastic - I had a big slab for my snack, and my husband who "will NOT eat any whole grains or cornmeal" says it is great. Looking forward to having it for breakfast.
How lucky you were to have a grandmother who cooked, and gave you recipes!

Wonderful and soft. The recipe responds well to increasing to all whole wheat (I also used 1 cup gluten and 1 egg). Great bread.
