- 1/2 cup filtered water
- 1/2 cup pumpkin puree (preferably organic, --> I use this BPA-free one)
- 1/2 cup maple syrup ( or coconut nectar)
- 3/4 cup farinha de mandioca ( Otto's, , or find it online here)
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. sea salt ( Celtic, or Himalayan salt)
- 2 eggs (preferably pastured or organic )
- 1/2 chocolate bar (to cup quality, fair-trade, chopped)
- 1/2 cup grass-fed butter (softened or room temperature)
- 1/2 cup raw honey (I use local raw clover creamed)
- 4 Tbsp. cocoa powder ( , use 3 tbsp for lighter chocolate flavor)
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp. sea salt ( Celtic)
- 1/2 cup chocolate bar (quality, fair-trade, chopped - for garnish, optional)
