These were great! We followed some of the recommendations in the recipe from previous comments: no egg wash, baked at 350 for 28-30 mins… frosting was great! Filling with orange zest was good, although, I think next time I’ll double the filling like the comment below, I also added some raisins to our filling! We refrigerated ours over night and baked them in the morning after letting them rise at room temp.

I love the cinnamon filling so I used double the filling. They came out fluffy and delicious, no dry crusty corners.

I really like the softness of this enriched dough, and it didn’t take as long as I thought for the first proof.

Very soft and crunchy. You could limit the orange zest by half. Fun time making it

I made these for a lovely breakfast treat for my daughter. She ate 2 for breakfast and took another one to school. The recipe was decadent and delightful and easy to make.

Fricken phenomenal. It was a struggle to get people to stop eating them so I could have some. These buns turned out so close to Cinnabon when I made them, which is what I wanted. The bread recipe was very similar and delicious. I was very pleased. I skipped a few things like the orange flavoring and egg wash part and it turned out very good. Also, I only made half the recipe just to try it, and I rolled my dough very thin and was able to get 8 rolls, and I added fresh squeezed lemon juice to the icing. I would recommend this!!!
