- 3/4 tsp. kosher salt (plus more for sprinkling)
- 4 Tbsp. cultured buttermilk (blend, Saco brand – available in most larger supermarkets)
- 1 cup parmigiano reggiano cheese (finely grated)
- 4 Tbsp. unsalted butter (melted and cooled)
- 3/4 cup milk (6 fl. oz., at room temperature, not nonfat)
