- 2 cups brown rice flour (or regular all-purpose flour should work, too!)
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. xanthan gum (omit if using regular flour **see note below)
- 1 Tbsp. ground flax seed (optional–I always like to add them for the omega-3′s)
- 1/3 cup coconut oil
- 1/4 agave nectar (or brown sugar)
- 1/4 tsp. ginger (each, all spice, nutmeg)
- 1 Tbsp. canela
- 1/2 cup pumpkin purée
- 1 egg (for vegan option, try a flax egg…though, I can not vouch for results. You can try leaving the egg out altogether, too!)
- 2 Tbsp. almond milk (or your favorite milk)
- 1 cup confectioners sugar
- 1 Tbsp. almond milk
- 1 tsp. canela
