- 1 Tbsp. dried oregano (crushed to release oils)
- 2 tsp. dried basil
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. onion powder
- 1/4 tsp. kosher salt
- 1/8 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
- 2 oz. parmigiano reggiano cheese (finely grated, or 1 ounce nutritional yeast flakes for a dairy-free version)
- 28 oz. tomato puree (or 1 28-ounce can whole peeled tomatoes, pureed with their juices until smooth)
- 3 oz. tomato paste (1/2 6-ounce can)
- 1 Tbsp. dried oregano (crushed to release oils)
