  • 8 tablespoons of butter
  • 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 3/4 teaspoon group black pepper
  • 4 cups milk
  • 1/3 cup cornstarch
  • 4 cups shredded cheese, divided
  • 16 ounces gluten free elbow macaroni

    1. Preheat oven to 375 and grease 13x9 casserole dish
    2. Cook macaroni according to package directions BUT reduce cooking time so the pasta is still quite a bit firm
    3. Drain macaroni and set aside

    The cheese was not melting the way it sounded as if it would but I continued to put it all together with hopes that the oven time would make it all work. I also added some GF panko breadcrumbs on the top. Turned out good! My 11 month old baby couldn’t get enough!!

    Love this recipe!! It has a great solution for a gluten free roux type of sauce that actually turns out well!
