- 3 cups granulated sugar
- 6 eggs (room temperature)
- 1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
- 1 tsp. almond extract (pure)
- 3 cups gluten free all purpose flour (I like Pillsbury gluten-free)
- 3/4 tsp. xanthan gum (leave out if your flour already has it)
- 1/2 tsp. gluten free baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 Tbsp. white vinegar
- gluten free food coloring (red and blue, I used food coloring gel)
- 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 1/2 tsp. pure vanilla (exract)
- 1/2 tsp. almond extract (pure)
- 3 Tbsp. milk (dairy-free use almond, cashew or coconut milk.)
