- 1 cup unsalted butter (plus extra for greasing the pan)
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 3 large eggs (room temperature)
- 3/4 cup buttermilk
- 1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
- 3 Tbsp. unsalted butter (softened)
- 6 Tbsp. milk
- 6 oz. milk chocolate chips (or semi-sweet)
