- 5 Tbsp. organic shortening (make sure it doesn’t have any hydrogenated oils!)
- 1 cup rice milk (mixed with 1 Tbsp lemon juice, let sit for a minute)

I used the butter free GF crisco in the crust. My vegetarian daughter was eating it off the casserole, it was so good!

Great! I added more broth (used bone broth) instead of rice milk for the filling and added some kale in with the veggies. Delicious! Husband said it was the best he’s ever had and that’s no small feat!
