- banana bread (BROWNED BUTTER)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup white sugar
- 2 large eggs (room temperature)
- 2 ripe bananas (medium-large over)
- 1/2 Tbsp. vanilla
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 3/4 cups gluten free flour blend (high quality, I've used Gluten Free Mama's Almond Blend, Grandpa's Kitchen, and Thrive Life)
- 1 tsp. xanthan gum (reduce to 1/2 tsp if using Thrive Life and omit if using a brand that already contains xanthan)
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 cup pecans (toasted, chopped)
- maple glaze
- 1 Tbsp. unsalted butter (browned, see instructions)
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 Tbsp. water
- 3/4 tsp. maple flavoring
- salt (to taste)
