Good flavor, I added some bananas but overall the mixture was gritty without the bananas. I will say I just mixed everything by hand and not a blender. the mixture seemed to need a little water or almond milk. The doughnuts rose well and looked good. Need to make the icing tonight. Update 2021... made with vanilla shake Kasein this time and it was much better. still had to add water to the mixture. made the icing and that was a hit.

amazing! i don't know what the other reviewer did, but I've made these twice now and they're awesome! when you cook with protein powder and coconut oil, it ain't gonna taste like flour and butter! and you won't feel like it, either. sift the dry ingredients twice... makes them lighter. great eats!!!

These are terrible. They are so incredibly dry that they are almost inedible. There is hardly any flavor, but even if you added more spices, they would still be so ridiculously dry that it wouldn't make much of a difference. There are other better recipes out there for protein doughnuts.
