- 2 cups cole slaw mix (shredded, chopped smaller, *from a 10 oz. bag or fresh homemade, with or without carrots)
- 12 gingersnap cookies (snapped smaller and finely ground in mini processor)
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. green onion (snipped)
- 5/16 cup soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp. sriracha sauce (chili, more if you like fiery-hot!)
- 1 Tbsp. garlic
- 3 cloves
- white pepper (to sprinkle on outsides)
- 4 Tbsp. vegetable oil (for frying, divided)
- 1 extra large egg (hard scrambled and finely chopped, optional)
- 10 oz. cole slaw mix (bag of, or 3 cups lightly packed)
- 1 green onion (large, snipped)
- 1 Tbsp. EVOO
- 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 1/2 tsp. sesame oil
- 1 tsp. rice vinegar
- 1 1/2 tsp. sriracha sauce (chili)
- 1 tsp. hoisin (Kikkoman only please! See note!)
- 1 clove minced garlic (very finely)
- 1/8 tsp. fresh ginger (grated, or to taste)
- 12 rolls Hawaiian-style rolls (pkg. King's, toasted on the inside, or warmed)
