We will definitely be repeatedly making these delightful hybrids! In lieu of a food processor, we cut the dates into very small pieces, which worked extremely well. We cut the pan into 9 servings; we found each to be completely satisfying, whether eaten as a desert or alone as a treat. Eaten alone, the gingery-chocolate thought of them lingers long enough that we believe this dish may become a holiday memory for a lifetime! Therefore, it behooves the cook to repeat it often at home, and go to events not only with the fudgie-gingery treat itself but the recipe cards in tow.
