Turned out nicely subbed out stock for 1/2 cup soy sauce and went heavy on the brown sugar and ginger. Sauce thickened up well and everything was tender. It was missing something though, couldnt put my finger on it.

Pretty good. We added a few garlic cloves and 1 tsp of dark soy which added a much needed punch, but overall very solid base. The sauce also ended up a bit thin for my taste but I'll add more cornstarch next time. The flavor is easy to miss if the sauce doesn't actually coat the meat/broccoli. The instructions were a little unclear and seemed to be written with an assumption of what may be higher than average cooking prowess (had to Google the Knorr tub to know what it was, meat should be drained/not soaked before being sauteed to get a good sear but that isn't clear from the instructions, etc).

great recipe. i tried it with chicken and knorr chiken stock tub. it was just as good. This recipe is easy to make and tastes like it takes a lot of work.

We followed the recipe and it turned out fair. The directions were difficult to follow. We couldn't sauté the beef because it was in boiling water. The final product looked nothing like the picture. Edible but nothing special.

Needs less water added to the end (when you stir in the broccoli) maybe 1/2 a cup as opposed to 1 cup. Good recipe though!

This turned out amazing! It has quickly become one of my go to meals. It is simple to cook and doesn't take a lot of time to prep.
