- 2 tsp. salt (I used kosher salt, but I’ve also done it with table salt)
- 2 1/2 tsp. yeast (active dry)
- 4 1/2 cups flour (I used half whole wheat and half all purpose for this batch)
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 10 cups water
- 2/3 cup baking soda
- 1 large egg yolk (beaten)
- 1 Tbsp. water
- oil (for pan)
