This tasted okay, it tastes just like sweet coconut cream with coconut flakes.
When I made it, I only used the thick cream from the coconut milk can, and added a bit of coconut flour to help thicken it up. I did not have to cook it over the stove until half of it evaporated (though I did have to heat it up enough so the coconut cream liquified).
Basically, it tasted fine, but not like anything super special. I enjoyed licking the spoon as I was making it, but I don't think I will make it again.
