Maybe you did like me and totally screwed this recipe up with the sugar. It was late at night and I almost threw it out before baking, but it still turned out amazing. So if you do what I did, don't worry it will still be great. Everyone was asking me for the recipe. I accidentally mixed both sugars into the flour. So I cooked the peaches quickly in about 2T of the dry batter mix. Then assembled as directed. The result was a gooey, caramel-candy like topping with a typical cobbler underneath. I plan to make this again the correct way soon but the flavors I expect will be the same-which were delightful!

Excellent recipe. Next time all double the crust to my liking.
Just like my grandmother’s recipe from Georgia.

Made this cobbler today. It was as sweet as...well...a Georgia peach. So easy to make and so scrumptious. I put a dollop of vanilla bean ice cream on each portion. The family raved over it. Will be making this again...and again....

This was amazing! Super rich and decadent! I will probably double the peaches next time (I only had 2 large and 3 small peaches this time), but honestly it was delicious even despite the smaller amount.of fruit. Make sure to get some vanilla ice cream too!

It would have been great but it had an overwhelming baking powder after taste. im super bummed to have to throw it all out. I thought 1 Tbs. of baking powder sounded like too much and it was.

This did not turn out well at all . It was my first time ever making a cobbler, I’m not quite sure what I did wrong, I thought I followed the directions throughly.
