- 1/4 cup soy sauce (use GF Tamari for gluten-free option)
- 1/4 cup dry white wine (or dry vermouth)
- 3 Tbsp. sherry (champagne, or rice wine vinegar)
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tsp. fresh minced garlic
- 1 1/2 tsp. fresh ginger (peeled and minced)
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 tsp. pepper (freshly ground)
- 1 tsp. sriracha sauce (or other hot chile sauce)
- 1 egg (beaten)
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 3 lb. boneless skinless chicken breasts (or thighs, cut into bite sized pieces)
- 1 cup broccoli florets (blanched until bright green, drained and patted dry with paper towels)
- 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1 1/2 cups green onions (chopped, tough tops discarded before chopping)
- 2 Tbsp. red pepper flakes (dried, or to taste)
- 1 cup enoki mushrooms (sliced, rinsed and patted dry)
- brown rice (or Steamed white, kept warm)
- white sesame seeds (for garnish, optional)
