My husband would give this 6 stars, but I thought that there was too much bacon. Flavor was excellent.

Delicious and easy to make. Husband raved, “best beans ever!”. It was just the two of us so used about 3/4 pound of beans (and now have leftovers) and just guessed at the amount of bacon but maybe 5 slices. Will be making this again.

This is a fantastic recipe! I made it with only one pound of green beans (only because two sounded like a lot for only eight ppl) and doubled the amount of bacon - ALL of it was devoured right away. I wished I’d used two pounds of green beans so maybe I could have had leftovers.

Turned out to be one of the best green bean dishes I have ever had. Simple but so good.

So good! Made this for a large family dinner and it was a huge it! The only thing I did different, I used fresh shaved Parmesan instead of grated Parmesan, because it’s what I had. The large shavings were a wonderful delight with each bite! Will definitely make this again!
