Recipe uses sour cream, which for me curdled when heated. Creme fraiche is a lot better. Also, the recipe and comments refer at different times to using cooked AND uncooked mussels. All frozen mussels are cooked for food safety reasons, which is even mentioned in the article. But then in the comments, the authour says to reduce the cooking time IF the mussels are pre-cooked (which they... are). So, reduce the cooking time so you don't have overcooked mussels. I followed the original instructions the first time and ended up with overcooked ones. Interesting concept, poor execution, but it's workable.
