- 1,300 grams butter
- 80 grams light brown sugar
- 255 grams self raising flour
- 2 medium eggs
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 150 grams caster sugar
- 175 mL milk (Buttermilk is best but I only had semi skimmed and it worked perfectly)
- 75 grams pitted cherries (Frozen, Always best to roll your fruit in flour before adding to the cake mix but I didn't bother and they still were fine)
