- 1/4 cup brandy
- 1 flour (dip-and-sweep cup, 5 ounces/142 grams unbleached all-purpose)
- 1/4 almond flour (firmly packed cup, 1 ounce/28 grams, finely ground almonds)
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. ginger
- 1/4 tsp. mace (or nutmeg)
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 cups chopped pecans (coarsely)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (room temperature)
- 1/3 dark brown sugar (packed cup, 2.33 ounces/66 grams)
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
