    Garlic, Onions & Creole Seasining.
    I followed it exactly but also threw in onions with the cabbage and spooned a small amount of bacon grease on top before mixing and putting on the lid. The onions helped bring out the fragrance, in my opinion. I also used a whole pack of bacon not 6.

    I added red and yellow peppers with carrots. Fried before the cabbage until tender (5-10 minutes). Added one tsp of fish sauce and all purpose seasoning for taste. No matter what you put the bacon is what makes this so good...

    i grew up eating this, my nana called it a poor mans dinner. we love it always and add egg noodles to make it more filling.

    It turned out great. you have to taste test the cabbages as you cook them to get them to the tenderness that you want.

    The Fried Cabbage turned out great. . . I added some Cajun seasoning to the cabbage for taste. Quick side to any meal.

    I made a whole head of cabbage with 2lbs of bacon, 1 red onion, 6 cloves of garlic, 1tsp red pepper flakes, salt and pepper. We like our spices and this was really good! I'll make it again for sure.

    I substituted the salt with Mrs. Dash. For me there's enough salt with the bacon. Quick & Easy...love it. It's the only way i make cabbage now.

    I added more seasoning along with onion, red, and green peppers. also added about a tablespoon sugar. Oh, and replaced the bacon with smoked turkey sausage. Really simple and delicious!

    Excellent, if you like a little more spice add a couple of dried red chile peppers as the cabbage is frying. Take them out before serving.

    Fabulous! This is the same recipe I’ve made before but rather by trial and error, sort of... My husband and I started the Keto diet and trying to satisfy his tastes on this menu plan has been challenging to say the least, SO, I tried cooking cabbage with some fried bacon one day and guess what?? Voila’ !!👏
