My final results desserves a HUGE LOL!!
The recipe it's just amazing. It's delicious!!! I loved every part of it.
My execution of the recipe was poor and the final result ajjajajajajajajajjajajaja. It was horrendous, simply ugly and terrible!
It was a nice try though. I'll do it again.
My family loved it. Very moist.

It was awesome and so good! It was gone in one night - I used lemon juice instead of lime zest since I didn’t have lime and it still was delicious

I baked this for Easter as a substitute for our traditional aged cake mix recipe. This recipe is fabulous!This cake is so light, even my husband commented on the lack of heaviness he expected. Yea, a modern version! I sub’d in lemon zest for the lime (an official option) because another dish I served used lime zest. I also sub’d crème fraiche for the sour cream because I had 4 oz leftover from another recipe. Can’t wait to try it with the lime zest, which I expect will knock it ‘out of the park.’ I used a 9” springform pan, let it sit for the full 20 minutes, and had no issues with the release. No cherries, but I did try it with ice cream, which I felt ruined the experience. Truly a keeper!
