This was probably the worst cake recipe I have ever made. The batter was thick but I hoped it would somehow turn out. When it came out of the oven my granddaughter said it looked like the bannock they had made in school last week. Loved the flavour of the fresh mint but the cake was beyond dry. I even had to add more milk to the frosting as it was too dry and thick. The flavour of the frosting was very good but it was not able to save the cake from being inedible. We had to throw it all out. I even went back several times to make sure I was following the recipe as the batter just didn't seem right the whole way through.
