- 1/2 lb. horseradish root (fresh, peeled and grated)
- 1/4 cup white wine vinegar (or apple cider vinegar)
- 1/4 tsp. sea salt (each, and pepper, to taste)
- 2 tsp. fresh lemon juice
- 1 Tbsp. sugar (dermerara, optional)
- 14 oz. beets (prepared, drained and grated or 1 pound beets, cooked, peeled, cooled, and grated)
- 2 cups horseradish (homemade or store-bought)
- 1 tsp. apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 tsp. sea salt
- 1 tsp. brown sugar (I use demerara or coconut sugar.. I know.. not authentic but my fave, optional)
