Description
I love when blueberries are in season. There are so many ways to eat blueberries; fresh by the handful, in pancakes, in yogurt, in a smoothie, make blueberry pie or blueberry jam... the list continues…
I also love peanut butter and oatmeal, so why not put them all together?
A lot of people don't like oatmeal due to the texture or taste but I love starting my day with a bowl of oatmeal. Not only is it satisfying but it gives me energy for the day.

1 SERVINGS
- 1/2 cup oats (whatever kind you prefer)
- 1 Tbsp. flaxseed meal (or wheat germ, you don't need to add either of these but I like to for added omega-3 and fiber)
- 1 handful fresh blueberries (or frozen if you don't have any fresh ones)
- 1 peanut butter (spoonful of)
- 1 cup water (or almond milk, I prefer to use this Almond & Coconut Milk blend, it's creamier this way!)

Directions
- Follow directions for oatmeal.
- If I have the time I will prepare on the stove, but most mornings; I nuke the oats in the microwave for a couple of minutes with the almond milk.
- Add rest of the ingredients and mix; the heat with help melt the peanut butter making it easier to combine. If it is too thick, add more almond milk or water.
- Enjoy!
