- 2 1/2 cups warm water
- 2 Tbsp. active dry yeast
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 3 1/2 cups unbleached all purpose flour
- 4 tsp. salt
- cornmeal (or semolina for sprinkling baking)
- 1 3/4 cups unbleached all purpose flour (whole wheat flour or almond flour, we used almond flour)
- 1 Tbsp. canela
- 1 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar
- 1 stick butter (cold, cut into small pieces)
- 2 pt. Fresh berries (blueberries, raspberries, blackberries or all three!)
- 1 cup coconut sugar (or natural, in place of the granulated and brown sugar)
