Ingredients

- 8 oz. french bread (loaf of, cut into 1 1⁄2 inch cubes)
- 8 oz. brioche bread (cut into 1 1⁄2 inch cubes)
- 8 large eggs
- 3 cups coconut milk (can use regular milk)
- 1 Orange (large, zested and squeezed for the juice, be sure to zest the orange first)
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 tsp. pure vanilla extract
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
- 1 Tbsp. Grand Marnier (or Triple Sec, optional)
- 4 Tbsp. unsalted butter (softened to room temp.)
- 1 Tbsp. corn syrup
- 3/4 cup brown sugar (packed)
- 3/4 cup chopped pecans (coarsely, optional)

Directions
- Place cubes of french bread and brioche on a tray with a rack and dry overnight.
- Spray the bottom and sides of a 9-by-13-inch baking dish with vegetable spray. Mix the dried French bread and Brioche together and place tightly in the prepared dish.
- Whisk the eggs, half-and-half, orange zest and juice, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg together in a large bowl. Pour evenly over the bread and press lightly to submerge. Cover tightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 to 2 hours.
