We liked this addition to the breakfast casserole repertoire. I used Pepperidge Farm Cinnamon Swirl bread (all but 2 slices) and let it sit 20 min to let the custard soak in. Also added a couple handfuls of fresh blueberries (as suggested by an earlier reviewer) and skipped the topping, sprinkling with just a bit of cinnamon sugar before baking.

I made it for 10 adult children and our grandchildren for the morning after Thanksgiving. They loved it and devoured every bit. I did add 2 cups of large blueberries to the recipe and they made it even better than we expected

Made it for Sunday brunch everyone loved it tasted great. Used left over brioche bread and added powered cinnamon in the custard. Topped with powered sugar and berries. Will make it again.

I made it for Mother’s Day brunch. Everyone loved it! I skipped the cinnamon and sugar topping and just sprinkled cinnamon across the top instead

Perfect!! I added chocolate chips for a little added sweetness. I have another recipe that uses croissants that my family likes a little better but this recipe is great and it turned out perfectly! I love the crispy top

This recipe was very easy to follow and my apartment smelled amazing afterwards. I would suggest to add some toppings such as syrup, confectioner’s sugar and berries. I got all the ingredients together and left them in the fridge over night in my baking pan. Then I got up early and baked the casserole for 50 minutes.

Everyone loved it. I made it up in the early morning and left it in the fridge for 2 hours. This allowed all the liquid to absorb into the bread. I popped it in the oven when everyone was up and we had a great breakfast. I'll definitely make this again.

I'm sure it would've been great. But the cinnamon sugar topping easily burnt. Smh......next time I guess

I made this in a half batch. Cooked for 30 minutes & it turned out perfectly! It was quick and easy to throw together with some leftover cinnamon raisin bread and rolls from Thanksgiving. Topped with fresh raspberries. I will be making this again.

This recipe is to die for. I made it a little differently with unsweetened almond milk, coconut oil, maple syrup, and whole wheat bread and it turned out amazing. Would definitely recommend this way or the original way! Just a great recipe and super easy to make. The topping is the best part! Swapped out sugar for cassava syrup.

This is my new fav breakfast! I can't wait to bring it for Easter pot luck breakfast! I slice butter and sprinkle brown sugar on the bottom of the dish and it makes a great sauce, no syrup needed!
