Didn’t have nutmeg, but I used cinnamon swirl bread and it was fantastic. Baking in the oven is genius! My super picky 9 year old said it’s the best French toast she’s ever had.

Didn't have nutmeg but still turned out great. Added some bananas and peanut butter. Also I used sweet Challa bread and didn't do strips. I'm only starting to cook but my wife and kids enjoyed their breakfast today.

Didn't bake it. used grainy seeded bread. My kids were coming in eating it without putting anything on it and liked it a lot. Definitely doing this again.

So very, very good! I used whole wheat bread ( the soft kind, so it soaked up the egg mixture). The cinnamon was delightful in this. I like it soft, so didn’t put it in the oven. Leftover slices were warmed in the toaster or microwave

Tastes really delicious with thick sliced cinnamon bread. Loved how the mixture brought the deliciousness to it. Goes great with banana and berries, I drizzled my toast with honey.

Pretty good recipe. I replaced the sugar with maple syrup and used normal white bread. The recipe had enough mix for another 2 slices. Will make again for sure.

Made with Milton’s Multi-Grain Bread and substituted 2 tbsp of Stevia for the sugar. Excellent! While family loved it!

This is a great recipe, I will turn down the nutmeg just a tad or I added a little too much. Oven idea was superb!

Very Good we’re definitely making it again, although I do have one tip and that’s I would whisk the eggs before you put anything else in the bowl so you’re not getting chunky parts of the yolk in your French toast.
