Amazingly delicious! I used Artesano bread. Baking in the oven makes the difference!

Haven’t made French toast in awhile so I needed to look up the recipe real quick. I ended up halving the recipe, but wanted to check the process again. So I went to directions and seen this called for putting it in the oven; had never thought of that and was interested. There wasn’t anything about temp but I figured 350 would suffice and at 6 minutes these came out fantastic and will definitely be cooking this again in the close future!!!

Really delicious, even my toddler loves them. Just sad because I forgot the powder sugar at the grocery store. With or without it is still pretty good! Highly recommend making.
Very good I would make it again

Searched high and low for texas toast in my area but wasn’t able to find any. I settled on Pepperidge Farm Hearty White instead and it did not disappoint. Recipe is easy and straightforward and it came out delicious. My whole family loved it. Highly recommend

These are great. Just the right amount of ingredients. Who knew that baking them for 20 minutes would even make them that much better. My family loved them- definitely will make again.

Delicious and easy! I recommend adding butter to the pan each time you put new pieces. And flip the French toast after a couple minutes Or it will burn

Delicious and easy. I let the bread sit out for a few hours prior to dipping in the batter.

Great idea to make them all then put them in the oven! That crisp edge combined with the soft, fluffy insides was the perfect combination of textures. The spices made it delicious! The whole family agreed, so I’ll make it again.

Made these for the first time today! My parents really enjoyed them and so did I! They were delicious! I used French bread to make them. The nutmeg definitely gave the flavor a kick. I wouldn’t suggest adding more nutmeg than what the recipe says since a little goes a long ways. Also, don’t forget to put the French toast in the oven as the directions say! Thank you so much for the recipe!

Super yummy! I added a bit more cinnamon and sugar. I topped it with pancake syrup and strawberries. Also used the oven trick to get them extra crispy!
This was sooooooo simple, it literally took me like 20 minutes and it was super worth it!! :)

Added more cinnamon. Too much mix for 8 slices of bread.
