It was delicious and my sil said it was the best he had ever had. I didn’t use the crust in recipe. I made a regular single crust pie shell. I would def make again.

It was absolutely delicious. One of the best dessert I’ve ever tasted. Fairly simple to make and is basically heaven in a pie. The texture is impeccable and the way it melts in the mouth is amazing.

I think it was overall a tasty dessert but not what I look for in a French silk. It was ultra rich and I couldn't eat more than a small slice of it, whereas the ones I've had in the past have tasted more light and delicate. I would maybe try going for the semi-sweet over the bittersweet chocolate if I did it again.

Amazing! I’ve used both semi-sweet and bittersweet chocolate. The bittersweet has a slightly richer flavor but it isn’t very noticeable.
