Looks more complicated than it was. Used English gruyere @ 8.99 lb as opposed to Swiss @ 18.99 lb... and bought too much. Doubled the onion/cheese/broth. Used a heavy nonstick pan since I don’t have a cast iron. Ran out of table salt so I used kosher salt. But other than that followed the recipe and it was good. You have to like onions.. keep that in mind.
