Extremely easy to prepare. Hardest part was shredding the cooked beef… Which wasn’t really that hard. Next time I will skim any fat from the top before creating the Au jus.

I made this for my family and we all thought it was delicious! At first I didn't cook it long enough and had trouble shredding, but after a while longer in the slow cooker, it just fell apart as I was taking it out. So yummy!

These french dips turned out perfect! After reading the other reviews I substituted a dry packet of onion soup because thats a staple in most kitchens. It solves the problem of not enough dip because you get 4 cups of french onion and the extra seasoning because the dry stuff is more flavorful than the can. I will use this recipe again and again. So easy!

Absolutely delicious, the only thing I did was season the roast before dropping it into the slow cooker! Yummmm

this recipe is good, but needs more flavor. maybe a little garlic or caramelized onions when baked with the cheese. i will make again and add a few more seasonings..

Made this for a group for college football...I turned them into slider sized sandwiches and it was a huge hit!!! I did add some Italian seasoning in with the soup and broth.

Would a pork roast taste as good as beef chuck? I have one in the fridge needing to go in the crock pot!

Everybody really enjoyed this and totally devoured it, the sauce was amazing. Easy to make with minimal fuss, I will definitely be cooking this one again.

it needed more juice. my husband had to go buy 2 more french onion soups. other wise we wouldn't have anything to dip or sandwich in. So i suggest buying extra onion soup.
