- 2 large eggs (at room temperature)
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup light brown sugar (packed)
- 2 Tbsp. almond extract
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup toasted slivered almonds (optional for sprinkling, I did not use)
- 3/4 cup peach jam (apricot-, or a pineapple, peach, apricot or favorite jam)
- 1/4 cup cream cheese (softened)
- 1 Tbsp. almond extract
