I’m a huge fan of SKT recipes but always have to adjust the seasoning to taste because they are too bland for my house otherwise. This one was no exception. Great concept and I appreciated the mayo to yogurt ratio for the sauce, but added dried dill, garlic powder and onion powder because it had no flavor and was not appealing at all. Before marinating the chicken, I found a similar recipe with a ton more spices that uses yogurt as a binder for the chicken marinade and calls for 24 hours to properly season. It also said - never use lemon juice to marinate chicken more than 3 hours or you toughen the meat. I put lemon zest in with the yogurt and spices instead. My dinner was delicious, but if the chicken only sat 30 minutes in these spices, it wouldn’t have been the same at all. And following this recipe with lemon juice in the marinade for 24 hours doesn’t sound like the best idea. SKT does a great job here keeping it skinny, but serious modification is needed in the spice department for this one if you like strong flavor.

Nice and flavorful. I had a little less chicken than it called for (19 oz) but the marinade wasn’t overpowering. The white sauce piece of the recipe makes a TON, even though I halved it! Might even quarter it next time.

The chicken was amazing, however, listen to Gina when you need to use whole milk yogurt. I did not, and the white sauce was terrible but my chicken-hating kids at the chicken!!!
