I accidentally used coconut flour instead of almond flour. I am new to GF cooking. Would this have made them drier? They were very chalky!

I've made this several times now - sometimes even with a little variation like adding just the slightest touch of cinnamon - but you can't beat the recipe for it's simplicity and ease of preparation - - - these suckers would disappear in minutes so I would make at least triple or more the recipe size - in order to have plenty - - - one thing I wouldn't recommend is ever putting them in the fridge - they harden up to an unpleasant texture level in particular - good airtight container and they will last for about three or four days - - if they're around that long..........
