Very moist and flaky. I used half butter and half shortening. Will make this my go to. Family loved it.

This was my first batch of biscuits ever, and they turned out … ok. I didn’t make some of them thick enough, but the taller ones were actually pretty good. It may help to chill the dough for 20 minutes or so before baking. Also, a 450° oven is too hot for parchment paper; I just lightly sprayed my pan with oil and the finished biscuits lifted off effortlessly.

These turned out perfect! They rose nearly twice the size of the dough and were very light and fluffy. I made this recipe using only butter, which was exactly what I wanted! The whole family LOVED these biscuits and I will definitely be using this recipe again!

Fluffy and make 7 large biscuits. I like just adding enough buttermilk to hold it together, I did not use a rolling pin; just hand pressed to 3/4” thick and that makes them turn out great!

Very fluffy and flavorful. I used to use Bobby Flays biscuit recipe and this one is better!
